If you guys want another perspective on the Bass, then listen to Rush. Geddy Lee is the bassist and lead vocalist, and puts such emotion into the bass. You don’t need to like the band, just the skills of the musians.

this man has come …
this man has come up with melodies on his bass that will never be matched by anyone….and I mean never be matched.
I learnt to play Blackbird by breaking it down , first the bass part and then the high notes , this guy comes up with such a melodical guitar part and sings an even better one over the top of it.
Genius of our era.
