I recently got turned onto electronic music through a friend’s Last.fm radio station. This entire album (Twisted) is an amazing listening experience and this track opens it up perfectly. Simon Posford is just incredible, one of the most consistent musicians/producers – check out his work in Shpongle and Younger Brother as further examples!!!
My goal for this arrangement was to maintain the song structure while adding a few embellishments of my own, I don’t really know how well it worked out but I had a lot of fun trying. Also brought out some…alternate light sources to add to the whole “psychedelic trance” vibe.
