God bless Jerry! Man, I have been playing off and on over the past 20 years, mostly self-taught with a little help from band-mates, friends. You see I am more of a drummer than a guitarist. The cool thing about guitar is that you can play anywhere unlike drums, so I love it. Great little tip. I notice at times it looks like you are doing this while you are playing. I have trouble playing faster leads and leads in general. I've started doing this little pointer and things are sounding better and cleaner.

Jerry - I have been playing for about 2 ½ years and have come a long way. I have spent a lot of money on books, DVD's, and personal lessons that I guess have gotten me this far. For the last eight months or so I've been learning a lot of songs off You Tube and other video sites but only off of visualization and memorizing finger placement. Your videos and method of teaching has helped me more than any thing else I have tried at this stage of my playing. Hi Jerry, Because to date I'm pretty much self-taught, you are systematically doing away with all of my bad habits. First of all, I sit in meetings at work and continuously do 1-2-3, 2-3-4. I'm addicted to it. Second, I've been practicing scales until I'm sick of them. I've tried to make them interesting by doing three notes then back two, anything to break up the monotony. Now I have something that I can see a musical purpose to, other than just strengthening my fingers. I have no doubt that I will become addicted to this as a warm-up. Thank you for all your help!

Jerry, Like to tell everyone what a great labor of love & invaluable experience they're being blessed with in this program Been in alot of bands, playing since early 70's with a Phil Keaggy, Neal schon, Satriani style, Played in church & some famous musicians & you remind me of some good people I knew in Augusta, Georgia while in the Army..
